| I'm fairly certain that the reason why there are laws against child pornography is to stop kids from being exploited. That's the reason why the cartoons are legal, they don't exploit a child.
As for pedophiles, I don't see any reason why they would be intrinsically bad. Whatever your personal preference is, you should have the freedom to pursue it - to an extent.
The final thing I wanted to comment on is the phrase you used, "all you need is love." You might be implying it, but I just want to emphasize one thing. All you need is consent. The question is, at what age is a person able to understand their choices and be able to consent? Right now, its basically eighteen with exceptions here and there. This also ties into when a minor could consent to doing pornography.
