I have an idea for a fake nature documentary...but why would I share it?

Oh, I just remembered an idea I had awhile ago. I'll share this one since it's stupid and I'm never going to produce it:
Title: The Man Who Didn't Shoot Liberty Valance
The scene fades from black onto a tightly composed medium shot of a young man sitting at a table. He has some papers laid out on the table, and a pen in his hand. His head is titled slightly downward, focused intently on his work. Slightly behind the man's right shoulder there is an open window, parted curtains fluttering in the breeze. The shot holds for almost a minute as the man continues his work.
A gun shot sounds outside. The man starts, pushing his chair back and hurriedly rising from the table. He rushes to the window, pokes his head out and says "What the hell was that?"
cut to black, roll credits.
