Try backing up your writing with some... research. If you're going to write about police, go to a police station and ask them how they do things. Interrogations, what gear to take to what job, how a "mission briefing" might take place... that kind of stuff. You want your writing to sound convincing, don't you? Any research could help. Heck, how about this: instead of saying "5-7", you could say "standard-issue single-action tactical FN Five-seveN". Put some thought into the stuff... |
