To the people quoting the bible and all that, "religion without science is blind"(-einstein); i think a fair statement.
Will the world end? depends what is regarded as the world -
humanity? depends how we are faring 4 billion years down the track (interplanetary colonies).
earth? either when the sun increases in diameter, nuclear warfare, ozone layer, lack of resources etc.. the usual.
