| I asked the barkeeper for a whiskey and sat down at the bar. Looking around, I made sure that no one was looking my way. From my jacket I pulled out a little bottle with some pills and slipped them into the drink beside me, which happened to be the only drink in the bar, beside those of the guards.
Reemings came from the back of the bar and sat down next to me. He picked up his glass and downed his drink, a regular beer, in a few gulps. I got up and headed for the bathroom, where I knew Reemings was going to be going next.
