That is even easier. If the unit enters the region or "out of bounds" YOU KILL it on the location

. To turn it on and off, you make a varaible called armTrap and you make it a boolean. Every 10 seconds, turn it on and off and play an animation on the trap to make sure people know when the trap got set off or not.
