There appears to be a cavern cutting away into the mountain, and the entrance is covered in the strange, twisted secretion. Squinting very hard at the substance, Ian sees that some of the creatures are actually embedded in the walls, their natural body shape blending in with their hive webbing. They appear to be slumbering, but how can you tell if something without eyes is awake or not?* |
