| Leo: Alirght, first thing on the list is the live-fire course.
Simon: What?!
Kate: ommander, we just got into these things! We can't do anything!
Leo: Liv-fire will help you with that, won't it? And if it doesn't, I suspect that you will ship out as a bunch of plasma-burnt cinders, or full of bullet holes. Maybe even as giblets.
*Kate grimaced under her new helmet. Giblets was Marine slang for 'chunky left-over piees of freshly dismembered flesh, usually resulting from direct contact with a high-explosive weapon.* She did not want to think about what it'd be like.*
Dexter: So what are we doing?
Leo: We're starting simple. The whole obstacle course. After that, we'll do it under plasma fire, then both soild and plasma fire, and then we'll take rockets.
*The team groaned at this. Rockets was the worst. It was a simulated obstacle course in which the team had to do their best to get through the course without getting blasted into giblets by sim-rockets.*
Leo: We might also do zero-gee with live rockets. Might.
*This was a proposal of suicide. Just as the team was going to object, Commander Geans came over the suits' commsets.*
Commander Geans: Not a bad idea, Ervis... only it'll be you doing it.
Leo: Sir yes sir!
Commander Geans: Hmm... we'll see.
Leo: Let's go.
Simon: Haha! You have to do zero-gee with live rockets!
Leo: If I don't, I'll be requesting for him to let me..
